- Development and validation of nonlinear constitutive models to define AFM indentation loading of breast tissue specimens.
- Development of a probabilistic algorithm to quantify uncertainties in the estimated elastic modulus from raw AFM data.
- Development of a semi-automated image-guided positioning system for AFM probe-tissue alignment across multiple magnifications.
- Mechanical characterization of epithelial and stromal tissue subtypes in benign and cancerous breast tissue specimens using linearized contact models.
